The three-day journalism workshop Editcon 2.0 – Edit and Elevate, hosted by NH Goel World School, concluded on July 28 with an inspiring showcase of student-created newsletters and a thought-provoking session by a renowned media personality.

Held under the theme “छोटे कदम, बड़ी सोच”, the workshop aimed to empower school students with journalistic skills and social awareness. On the final day, six participating schools, including NH Goel World School, presented their newsletters based on the topics allotted on Day 1. The students demonstrated their creativity through relevant current examples, impactful headlines, and engaging doodling, turning their newsletters into reflections of youthful insight and awareness.

The highlight of the day was the workshop conducted by Mr. Shashank Sharma, a well-known journalist and speaker. He took the students on a journey through the origins of journalism, especially its significance during the Indian freedom struggle. He emphasized how journalism was once a tool of resistance, education, and reform.
