Mr. Vinod Joon, Sr. Secondary Math teacher and Teaching Learning Coordinator from N H GOEL WORLD SCHOOL, has been associated with "AI for Youth" program run by Intel and the CBSE since last 2 years through online workshops and webinars for: "Artificial intelligence integrated multidisciplinary Pedagogies." CBSE is the world’s first educational board to introduce AI in the curriculum in schools. He started this journey as a trainee to understand the integration of this new technology i.e. Artificial Intelligence in the process of teaching and learning. He explored various AI based applications and integrated them in his lesson plans for teaching of Mathematics. Later he was chosen by the Intel-CBSE team as a Key Resource Person (KRP) to train other teachers for integration of AI tools in teaching of Mathematics. Presently, he is an ‘AI for Youth subject Coach’ and one of the 22 educators chosen from across country as trainers to train teachers from India and abroad.
He has already started to train teachers for integration of AI in Mathematics through online workshops and webinars.
Recently, he attended a workshop and met all the AI for Youth subject coaches alongwith the leadership team from intel and the CBSE for this AI4YOUTH program. He received a letter of appreciation from intel for his contribution in the successful run for this program. An international certification follows his achievements as soon he completes the Experience and Empower stage of AI integration.
