Amidst the footfall of thousands of students from schools like Swami Atmanand School, Mohdi, Police Public School, Brahmavid Global, Columbia, DPS, Government School, Kesarangi, KPS, Dunda, Government School, Maridhar, Government  Higher Secondary School (Girls and Boys), Nardaha, Gyandram Varma School, Nardaha, Sri Narayan Public School, Boriakala, Shivam Educational Academy, Indraprasth, Cardinal Warriors School, Mana, KPS, Tulsi, Adarsh Viyalaya , New Raipur and Devendra Nagar, Height Middle School, Bhainsa, Saraswati Shishu Mandir, Rohinipuram, DIET Shankar Nagar, the three day ISRO exhibition concluded.

The head of the exhibition Mr NJ Bhatt satiated the curiosity of the students in question answer session. He told the students that ISRO takes in its fold the students from commerce and humanities streams as well. The students were amazed to know the presence of science is all pervasive. ‘From knitting a sweater to ploughing agrarian fields all are perfect examples of science.’ Mr Bhatt added.

The Chief Guest of the closing ceremony, Dr Bharathi Dasan was given a warm welcome by the school authorities. The students presented a Chhattisgarhi song and a folk song in his honour. Besides, Mr NJ Bhatt giving the crux of the exhibition the students were also invited to share their views about the exhibition. Addressing the audience, Dr Dasan threw light on the vastness of the space. He said that we must take pride in the fact that mathematicians like Aryabhatta and Bhaskar were our ancestors who unravelled layers of mysteries enveloping the space. He also said the need of the hour is to work for sustainable development with due consideration to urbanisation, agriculture and environment.

Towards the end,  the guests were presented memento made by the students of the institution. School Science Coordinator, Mr MN Singh proposed vote of thanks and expressed his gratitude towards all involved in the exhibition. The programme ended with the National Anthem.
