INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION 2023 (FP/PP CLUSTER)
Independence Day is a time of pride and patriotism, a moment we celebrate the freedom that countless individuals fought and sacrificed for. It’s a day to reflect on the journey of a nation that struggled against colonial rule to achieve self-governance and sovereignty.
The 77th Independence Day was celebrated in our school with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. The school campus was beautifully decorated with flags and tricolor strings to commemorate the day. All the students and teachers assembled on the school premises at 9 a.m. in the morning to celebrate the auspicious day.
A solemn speech was given by the Vice-Principal Ma’am to pay homage to the brave martyrs of the country. She addressed the students with her inspiring words. She also, stressed the value of sacrifice, hard work, honesty, and character formation as the chief aim of the students.
Later, students of grades 1 to 5 presented a graceful dance. Followed by a poem and patriotic songs by students of grades 2 to 5. There was also a freedom fighter showcase by the Tiny-Tots of grades 1 and 2.
There was a feeling of pride and patriotism in everyone’s heart. The program was concluded with a vote of thanks followed by the National Anthem.
